Financial Services

Financial Services provides financial, administrative, and system support services to Facilities Services & Ancillary Services and is in room 1080 of the Physical Resources Building.  Financial Services includes a range of traditional accounting services for operations, projects, and ancillaries.  We also provide contract and lease administration, asset management system administration, data management, a range of reporting and analysis, Materials Management (see separate section), and the Work Control Centre (see separate section).

Financial Services provides the following services:

  • Budget Administration and Control
  • Daily Transaction Support – Invoices, Purchase Requisitions, PCard Management, Claims, Petty Cash
  • Operations Accounting including Job Costing and Financial Statement management
  • Capital and Renovation Project Administrative Support & Accounting
  • Maximo Asset Management System Administration
  • Data Management & Migration Services – Maximo, PeopleSoft, STAC, others
  • Vendor of Record Contract Administration
  • Lease Administration
  • Report Preparation (MTCU, SIF)
  • Accounts Receivable functions
  • Development & Maintenance of Financial Procedure, Internal Control, and Workflow
  • Month-End & Year-End activities
  • Liaising with External Departments, Agencies, University Units and other Stakeholders on financial matters
